Yannik El-Noshokaty inspires the creators of tomorrow
The Yannik Foundation created Y-Space to be a dynamic, self-sustaining ecosystem for innovative learning and expression. From creative workshops designed in collaboration with street artists, to a curated online hub that champions their work, Y-Space is ultimately by kids, for kids.
Y is for Yannik, founded in memory of Yannik El-Noshokaty, who died suddenly at the age of 12 of Long QT Syndrome (LQTS), a rare heart condition. Y-Space represents his curiosity, creativity, and optimism. Looking to children and teens as natural creators, full of ideas and unlimited energy, we harnessed this spirit to guide our process.
The visual identity is as bright and energetic as Yannik and the generation Y-Space represents. Using customizable bold colors and a striking typeface, the identity mirrors the flexible and adaptable nature of the organization. All of it revolves around the one element that remains constant – the “Y” of Yannik.
