Joining forces to create an exciting technology brand
Plantronics and Polycom, two innovative technology leaders, merged into a combined company. The new brand needed an identity that would reflect the heritage, aspirations, performance, and passion of each of the legacy companies.
The new P monogram is based on a perfect triangle, reminiscent of the Polycom conference hardware, mixed with a play button to connect to Plantronics audio equipment. The look-and-feel signals innovation and performance that’s critical to technical audio buyers, yet conveys an ease-of-use and accessibility that invites and appreciates connected workers. The use of pattern and motion was imperative to signaling a new path forward for Poly.
